At Kaeding Anderson, we focus on sustainability not only in our projects, but also internally. Our employees can now enjoy a new benefit: the guudcard.
What is the guudcard?
The guudcard is a benefit card that is topped up monthly with a tax-free benefit in kind of up to 50 euros. Our employees can use this credit to consume consciously and sustainably – regionally, throughout Germany and according to their personal needs.
The possible uses are many and varied:
- Sustainable shopping in organic markets or regional stores
- Mobility such as the Deutschlandticket
- Sport & health with offers such as Urban Sports Club membership
Why the guudcard suits us
Sustainability is a key issue for us. With the guudcard, we are creating a benefit that:
- is as individual as our team, as everyone decides for themselves where the credit is used.
- strengthens our corporate values by spending specifically on sustainable locations.
- makes the impact visible: our employees can use the app at any time to see what contribution they are personally making to sustainable development.
Sustainable effect with a system
Acceptance points are selected on the basis of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Together with the Future Cooperative, guud has developed a list of criteria with over 30 ESG indicators – from environmental and social aspects to corporate structures and co-determination. This ensures that the funds are invested where they will have an impact.
Our drive
More than 80% of employees in Germany believe that their company is not doing enough to protect the climate. By introducing the guudcard, we at Kaeding Anderson want to send a clear signal: We take our responsibility seriously – and create tangible added value for our team.
Since its launch in 2021, guud, together with all its users, has already brought over 2 million euros into sustainable trade. For us, it was clear: if we can achieve real impact with our benefits, then we will.
Since both guud and we at Kaeding Anderson are members of the BNW Bundesverband Nachhaltige Wirtschaft, the idea of switching from our previous benefit card provider to guud was born – now we have also become a good deal more sustainable in this area and are happy to support the idea of guud!
