Since the launch of ChatGPT in 2022, artificial intelligence (AI) has developed steadily and is increasingly being integrated into our everyday lives. The initial models, which were mainly specialized in text processing and simple conversations, have now found specialized applications in areas such as image and speech recognition, data analysis and decision support.
AI systems can now perform tasks ranging from creative writing to assisting in medical diagnosis. The advances in AI are due to increasing computing power, improved algorithms and extensive data sets that enable the models to act more precisely and in a more versatile way.
Of course, these technologies also open up many opportunities in marketing. As an advertising agency, we have been curious and open to AI applications from day one and have been involved with them in many different areas.
This article summarizes our experiences with various AI programs and technologies that have come onto the market since the launch of ChatGPT.
Video & Photography
Midjourney
Our video team in particular can realize creative ideas by introducing AI. With Midjourney, short prompts are sometimes enough to create a usable photo. In many cases, this not only saves time and money, but also provides plenty of new food for thought.
Runway
Runway is a tool that works in a similar way to Midjourney. The only difference is that it is not used for photos, but for videos. With a few simple prompts, Runway makes it possible to change the style of a filmed video.
The following example is based on the Kaeding Anderson Christmas video. Various prompts were used, which show the original video in different styles:
HeyGen
With HeyGen you can create your own AI avatar. All you have to do is record a 5-minute video of yourself speaking something you like. Based on this video, you can later write texts in any language, which the AI avatar will recite with amazing lip sync. The video at the beginning of this article serves as an example.

Web development
GitHub Copilot
In the “Web” area, the GitHub Copilot has proven to be an indispensable aid. As the written code is continuously analyzed, valuable time is saved by completion suggestions. It is also possible to ask the chatbot for help if you need to build a more complicated module. It provides the developer with code snippets. If in doubt, the co-pilot can also build entire modules. Each code example is accompanied by an explanation of the individual sections.
In the following example, the co-pilot has built a website using HTML and CSS:
Audio
Suno.ai
Suno.ai is a tool that makes it possible to create real music files from short prompts. You can enter any song text and at the same time specify the desired genre, voice, instruments, etc.
Example: The lights go out in Lemgo (Audio, MP3)
The special feature: from a prompt that consisted solely of the genre and the text line “The sun rises in Lemgo”, the Kl creates a suitable song and surprises with an
amazing plot twist
NotebookLM (Google)
With NotebookLM it is possible to automatically create podcasts as in the following example:
https://notebooklm.google.com/notebook/5268e19c-05dd-4a49-8859-47a8707d488f/audio
In this example, the tool was fed with two pieces of information: an audio file with content about the vacation home and some various documents about a vacation home in Lemgo. The result is a pretty amazing conversation (in English)
Content
KI-Klaus
With the make.com tool, hundreds of sources can be linked together and AI tools can be easily integrated. For example, we forwarded incoming emails with defined subject lines (as triggers) to an appropriately trained API from ChatGPT and sent the result as a reply email. From now on, the AI Klaus will respond to certain email requests.
In the following example, a test email was sent to communicate with KI-Klaus. Only “KI-Klaus” was entered in the subject line. The message sent can be seen on the left-hand side and the reply on the right-hand side.
Chat GPT
ChatGPT is probably the best-known tool. The AI chatbot has introduced itself in the following example, for those who don’t know it yet:
ChatGPT offers a wide range of possibilities in a marketing agency to optimize processes and promote creativity. It can serve as a source of ideas for campaign concepts by developing creative slogans, texts or storyboards. It also supports content creation, whether for social media, blog articles or newsletters, and helps to personalize content for different target groups. Thanks to its ability to analyze data, it can provide insights into trends and customer behavior that serve as a basis for strategic decisions. In addition, ChatGPT can help automate routine tasks such as composing emails or answering frequently asked questions, saving time and resources. It thus strengthens the efficiency and innovative power of a marketing agency.

AI assistants
ElevenLabs
ElevenLabs is a company that specializes in AI-powered speech synthesis. Their technology uses advanced deep learning models to generate natural and expressive voice output. The platform allows users to create realistic voices, convert text into high-quality audio content and even clone individual voices. Of particular note is ElevenLabs’ ability to recreate different languages and accents with impressive naturalness, making the technology ideal for audiobooks, dubbing, accessibility and content creation.
In the following example, a telephone number was set up with the help of Twilio. If you call this number, you can communicate with the bot that was created via ElevenLabs. The bot in this example is a vacation advisor with the voice of Thorsten Sagner. It can be found at the bottom right of this post.

Just give it a try:
